Ironic Conservatives

If Fred Thompson were to become our president, he would be the second ex-actor to rise to that lofty position. With all the political activism in Hollywood, and all the left leanings of the majority of the actors, wouldn’t it be a major irony if the two actor presidents were both conservatives?
