Erroll Le Vant's Top Ten Romantic Lines/Scenes in the Movies

Everyone should take the time to read these lists of my personal favorties, because they are those of Erroll Le Vant!

1. Bogart & Bacall in To Have and Have Not, The “just pucker up and blow scene”

2. Casablanca—the Parting scene between Bogart and Bergman, “If you’re not on that plane…”

3. Richard Gere & Debra Winger—An Officer & A Gentleman, the closing scene of him sweeping her up and away.

4. Rhett & Scarlett—Gone With the Wind, His carrying her up the stairs in his arms.

5. Patrick Swayze & Demi Moore—Ghost, the pottery wheel scene, with Unchained Melody in the background

6. Gary Grimes & Jennifer O’Niell—Summer of ’42, the seduction scene

7. Ryan O’Neal & Ali McGraw---Love Story, “Love means never having to say you’re sorry”

8. Omar Sharif & Julie Christie---Doctor Zhivago, this is the first movie I saw with she who became my wife.

9. Wiliam Holden & Audrey Hepburn—Sabrina, can’t single out a moment

10. Gene Kelly & Leslie Caron—An American in Paris, the dream sequence when they think they are gong to separate, the dancing is awesome.
