Mortgage Lenders In Jeopardy?

I have not kept up with the big turmoil about the sub-prime mortgages and the number of repossessions, as I have almost paid off the mortgage on my home. Our loan was a ten year fixed rate of interest. But I wonder if the big mortgage lenders today are going to survive the storm in the industry.
