Good Bye Chuck!

My wife's step father passed away suddenly this morning. He was 81. In the hospital the nurse was taking his vital signs and Chuck was talking with her and feeling pretty good. As the nurse turned to leave the room, she heard a change in the sound of his breathing. She turned back and found that he was in cardiac arrest. He was gone in moments.

I am glad it was peaceful and not a lingering debilitation. Chuck Burns was such a good man, I am glad he did not have to suffer.
