Radar Detectors

I live in a big city and seldom travel at speeds above the posted limits, most of the time traffic is so bad that it is impossible to drive fast. But I have a good friend who lives in a remote setting in West Texas, where the roads are most often empty , flat and straight! He loves to let his vehicles get up close to triple digits. He says the fact that he has radar detectors in all his cars and trucks has saved him a lot of fines over the years!
